TV and Streaming Rights of IPL 2023 Channel: The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be played in the old format where teams will play their home matches in their designated stadiums across India.
On 29 March 2022, the BCCI announced the invitation to tender IPL media rights 2023-2027.
IPL 2023-27 has media rights. Earned INR 48,390 Crore (Digital+TV). In five years of media rights, a total of 410 matches will be played where BCCI earns around Rs 118 crore per match.
Disney Star retained its Indian sub-continent TV rights by paying Rs 23,575 crore (57.5 crore/game) while Viacom18 acquired the digital rights 23,578 crore with a winning bid of Rs.
First, Star India Network has acquired the broadcast and TV rights of IPL 2023 INR 16,347.50 crore for the 2017-22 cycle for both digital and TV. This is the first time that the BCCI has sold IPL broadcast rights for television and digital separately.
The price per IPL match jumped over 100 percent from the previous Rs 54.5 crore to over Rs 118.02 crore, making it the second most expensive sports league in the world. IPL's value per match (USD 14.61 million) is second only to NFL where each match is worth USD 17 million.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has indicated to increase the number of games per season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the next cycle of 2023-27.

IPL 2023: TATA IPL 2023 players auction saw a total of 80 players sold and INR 1,67,00,00,000 spent among the 10 Kochi franchises. The IPL 2023 player auction was heavily dominated by all players, as the demand was huge. English founder Sam Curran was the buzz of the town even before his name was under the hammer.
